Spurious Traffic Avoidance
At least I think that is what is happening – on the route below, I often get instructed to exit at Berkeley Street. I think the purpose is to avoid traffic, but many times there is no significant traffic to avoid.

Hi
I asked my colleague and he was aware of this behavior. It’s hard to fix but in this case you also got the straight ahead as an option.

In the second example it was possible to see what was going on, but often the zoom is to tight to see what you’re being asked to do. Does ABRP know that it’s deviating around suspected traffic? If so, would it be possible to add that as a label on the turn or in some way so that the driver knows that it’s not a necessary step in the route?
Part of the problem with this is that when you’re on a route that you know & expect ABRP to “cry wolf” and ignore guidance to get off of the highway only to discover that this time it was because of a big backup…

Normally we offer such an option when there is a lot of traffic. In this particular situation, we don't show that there is a lot of traffic, so we can't add anything to the navigation.
