SoC Becomes 100% on Arrival

After arriving at my destination, with an ODB2 connection providing live data, the SoC went from 35% up to 100%.

Where does this happen?

There is (or was) a glitch in the displayed trip progress (bottom left) while rerouting if you go off course. For just a second or two the current time is displayed as the ETA.

This happened when I had the car type screwed up (set to EV9) and was playing around with settings to help a friend who was getting ready for a road trip. So, I would probably have been manually setting the SoC. That seems to turn off the “Automatic settings” option. With a live data link configured, it seems that ABRP picks that up and goes back to using live data when you actually start driving, but I think I’ve seen the switch in the off state after arriving at a destination.

So, I’m wondering if what might have happened is that I’d manually set the SoC to 100% and then on arrival ABRP reverted the display back to the “static” settings that I had established as I was experimenting.

Hello - I checked your saved vehicles in ABRP and it seems a bit of a mix-up right now. One is named Kia EV6 but the selected vehicle model is an EV9, and it has OBD data but nothing from the day of your post. The other saved vehicle is an EV9 but does not seem to have OBD data connected.
Can you tell me which vehicle the screenshot was from and at approximately what day and time you experienced this?

The screenshot was from the EV6 (which really is an EV6). According to the metadata, the screen capture was made at 08:38:07 (PDT / GMT-08:00) on the 5th of August, 2025.

Thank you! This is super odd, I still see the raw live data logs for your vehicle for that drive and see a long strings of reports around 35% at that time but no 100%. Seems like it would be a bug in the display somehow. Let us know if you are ever able to reproduce this again.

Thanks for pointing out the vehicle mixup! I’ve been trying to help a friend with an EV9 plan a long road trip and clearly I wasn’t paying attention…
