SoC at departure possible to change in CarPlay

when I use ABRP in CarPlay mode and change the route to an alternative one, the SoC resets to default. One way to solve this could be to make possible to edit SoC within CarPlay without having to look for the phone. P.S. I understand that using Trinity or an OBD could also solve this issue, but it would be nice not to have to spend more money on a feature that is already available if using the phone.
