Slow refresh rate on map animation

Im using ABRP with Id.7 and ble obd. Most of the time i use cable connection to the car/phone and the the animation of vehicle on map seems to run at 0.5hz and quite easy in the UK to miss junctions at roundabouts because the animation is so slow (compared to google mapsetc). Is anyone else having this issue or just me?
