Shade in the summer is a huge thing in the western US. On summer road trips it is really unpleasant to need to charge in 100+ degree heat (38° C) when there is no shade. Shelter from the rain / wind in the winter isn’t such a big deal here, but in the mountains it probably is.
It would be super nice to be able to set charging priorities so that a nice place to charge would trump other considerations. Similarly with cost.
