   App version: 7.1.4 (5924) Premium

   Device: Sony Xperia XQ-AS52

   OS: Android 12

   Description:

   When planning a route, ABRP offers several route alternatives. I can tap an alternative route and it is displayed correctly on the map.

   However, as soon as I press "Drive", ABRP recalculates and switches back to its originally preferred (fastest) route instead of navigating along the selected alternative.

   The selected alternative also cannot be saved as a route plan. Whenever I try to save it, ABRP again reverts to the originally preferred route.

   This happens consistently and is reproducible.

   Steps to reproduce:

   1. Create a route with multiple alternatives.

   2. Tap one of the alternative routes (not the default fastest one).

   3. Verify that the alternative is displayed on the map.

   4. Press "Drive".

   Expected behavior:
   Navigation should start on the selected alternative route, and that route should also be saved if I save the plan.

   Actual behavior:
   ABRP ignores the selected alternative and switches back to the default fastest route when navigation starts or when saving the plan.

   The issue occurs both:

   • when starting navigation directly on the phone, and

   • when using Android Auto via USB.
