Search gives up during poor connection AND will not restart

When searching a destination on Apple Carplay while driving in a poor cell phone reception area, the search does not work. (Seems logical)
BUT when however the cell phone reception returns, search still does not work. Only a force restart of the ABRP on my iPhone helps.
