Satellite map view CarPlay
Hi,
Since your latest update and I think already during Beta phase, satellite map view not working properly. Will show occasionally but when selecting destination, screen does not show any map at all. If I select ABRP maps, all is fine. Could you kindly check please.

Hey, we did not change the satellite map at all recently. There is an upcoming update in the next version related to maps, but that is not in any of the betas so far. Could you please describe in more details what you see? As satellite maps downloads a lot of images (the satellite background layer) this could also be a network issue when you have bad signal. When you see it again could you please take a picture and also check your network signal? ABRP map is a vector map, so it consumes less resources and less data, so that could be one reason that it works better.

Thanks for the feedback, as far as I can remember, signal was fine. This is how it looked like when it occurred.

Ah thats actually an iOS bug. I investigated it earlier, and I saw a lot of posts on the internet, where it happened on other apps like Google Maps too.

I think there is not much we can do about that specific case. Please update your iOS version, i have the impression this happened less often in the recent versions (latest is 26.5.2).
