Routing to off-ramp, then immediately to same exit on-ramp

When driving a plan, we’ve had several instances where the route guidance took us to a highway exit, just to put us right back on the highway. There was congestion/slowdown on the highway. The re-routing guidance created a traffic law violation potential in that several of the ‘side quests’ instructed performing u-turns that were specifically prohibited by signage. This was at several exists along I-75 and I-85 in Atlanta GA.

In Google Maps,we have re-route throttled to ‘only if it saves 10 minutes or more’. Haven’t found a similar setting in ABRP.

    Hi

    I’m sorry about this. We are aware of the problem and are looking for a fix. This happens because we don’t get live traffic data for the ramps and then the app think it’s a better way to take.

      I get the challenge around ‘quicker’ - but, also concerning is the instruction to ‘make a U-turn’ pointing to an intersection with signage specifically prohibiting it. I get the wording ‘make a legal u-turn’ - but that ends up being contradictory and confusing.
