Route not use trans Canada highway?

Plotted Tesla Supercharger in Canmore, Alberta to Tesla Supercharger in Golden, British Columbia. For some reason the route ends up getting off the trans canada highway and take a long round about way to get to its destination. Though, you can see the trans canada highway is much more shorter.

This is on Chrome, using incognito mode, not logged in so default settings using Model X 75D 2017.
