Route goes 90 miles out of the way

I just submitted a bug report at 5:55pm EST. And I'm attaching a screenshot.

You can see the the route takes me about 90 miles out of the way by backtracking for 44 miles.
I had the same problem last week using the Android mobile app. (And the app was so slow that it was unresponsive.)
I am a paid subscriber, but I will probably cancel my subscription because the tool is obvious defective and unreliable.
