Hi, I am a Dutch citizen and owner of an Opel E-Ampera. This car has had battery issues and through a recall, the old batteries get replaced by a new one. As a service for the inconvenience, the new battery has a higher capacity. The ABRP app contains this info: when selecting the Opel E-Ampera as the relevant vehicle one has to indicate whether one has the 60 kW battery, or the 66 kW battery.
Now comes the issue. I just returned from the north of Denmark with my family and today my Opel E- Ampera is getting its new battery. I was curious to see what the benefit would be of the extended range so I compared the difference in ABRP: going to the Danish location with old battery, and the new. The outcome in ABRP however is an absolute disaster!!! Instead of gaining time, ABRP provides me with a completely different route (to exactly the same address) which requires over an hour of extra travel time (!) and 100 kilometers extra (!). Yes, it contains one charge stop less but that offers no benefit when travel time and distance are extended. This ofcourse makes no sense at all, total madness! I cannot screenshots to this message but if you provide me with your email address, I will send them to you.
I hope you can adjust the ABRP software in some way because I will now not use it any longer: there is something seriously wrong with it.
