Replanning while driving continuously suggesting 5 hour longer routes

Today was our first trip with ABRP premium using a OBD dongle.
The trip was 160km one way.

The way there went flawless, the algorithm learned our vehicle and adjusting residual SoC well.

The way home was horrible. On a drive of approx 90 min the system kept reporting having another route 5 hours shorter
The residual SoC calculation seems buggy and very conservative while driving.
How can Insopve this constant replanning and suggesting routes that make no sense? Saving 5 hours on a one hour drive remaining makes no sense
