Some people mentioned that it is annoying for them that they are routed back to the charger if they ignore it on purpose.

We could add an option, that does not send back people, but navigates to the next possible charger.

    The behavior I’d like if a charger is “missed” is to recalculate the route, then:

    • If the trip can be completed without the missed stop, proceed to the destination or new charger.

    • Else, if a charge is required and you’re on city streets and a charge will be needed, offer to return to the missed charger with a “Skip & Replan” button that will take you to the next charger along your route if that is possible or else a warning that the trip is not viable without returning to the missed charger.

    • Else, if a charge is required and you’re on a limited access highway, offer to go to the next charger along the route, with a button to “Return to Missed Charger” or a warning that the trip is not viable without returning to the missed charger.

    • Else, if the destination is within range, but at a reduced arrival SoC, offer to go to the destination arriving with the new arrival SoC and a button the return to the charger.

    I would really review the replanning logic to be honest.
    I had occasions when ABRP reset my reference consumption and I arrived much higher SoC, so the charger was slower and not efficient. (For example, the plan was to arrive with 5%, but I was there with 23%)

    It would be great to have at least a button to replan the route with the current information (like SoC, ref consumption), meaning dropping the current planned charging stops and find a new ones if necessary.

    An automated regular update of the plan would be even nicer.

      The plan is refreshed every minute automatically. If there is a better route or a charger can be omitted, we should propose that already.

    I would suggest the following behaviour :

    When ignoring a charger (such as a direction change which should take the driver to the charger), we may get a popup suggeting 2 options :

    1 - Ignore the charger : would recalculate the trip without this charger

    2 - Route me back to the charger : curent behaviour

    One of the 2 could be the default, automatically selected after a few seconds
