Reference consumption rises way too high

I have abrp linked to my obd dongle via Torque in my Hyundai Kona. The default reference consumption is 162. When driving the app automatically detects the reference consumption and it has risen to 212. This is way off and completely unrealistic. When I manually adjust it back to 162 it seems about right. What is going wrong here?
