Reference consumption

When I manually set a consumption level (turn off the calibrated consumption and enter a manual value of 280), my trip performs perfectly and gives me the extra headroom for having the ac/heater on, etc. I arrive with the correctly stated amount of charge left.

But, it seems like on the very next trip or when there is a app update, the automatic consumption figure gets turned back on. This means I arrive at my destination with not the correct amount of charge left.

I know when it is not set correctly, because the destination charge level keeps going down, while I am driving.

I am using live data with an OBD adaptor on ios.

As much as I use this app, especially for long trips, it gets annoying to have to turn the setting off and adjust the numbers all the time.

Is there a way to permanently keep it on manual, unless I change it?

Where does this happen?

When you connect your OBD we read data from your car and then it overrides the manually set consumption.

Which OBD do you use and does it have the latest firmware?

I use the vgate vlinker MC+.

It stays in the OBD port. It does not get disconnected.

Yes, I am using the latest firmware.
