Readjustment of SoC not possible

Hello ABRP-Dev team,

4 weeks ago the following behavior started to occur.

I use abrp without linking it to my car, as it is a little on the exotic edge of available e cars. While driving I correct the SoC as per value shown by my car to get a more accurate estimate for the next charging stop. While charging I often do not follow the recommendation of abrp for the target SoC, but rather charge more.

After finishing the charging process I try to correct the SoC, which is impossible. If I'm able to change the SoC ti the correct value, it almost immediately jumps back to the calculated target SoC if abrp. Often i cannot even adjust the value more than by 2% before it jumps back to the original value.

Later on the+ and- signs left and right of the SoC bar disappear entirely and reappear along the ride just for seconds before they disappear again. I have no chance to adjust the SoC manually. It is very irritating and unsafe

My abrp version is 7.1.2 and I use a Samsung Galaxy S26 ultra with the latest patch of June 5th.

    We have just finished an update which should fix all of these issues. We will release a beta release

      The behaviour of disappearing + and - signs seems to be solved with the new version 7.1.4. thank you for solving this.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the update. Which version would it be? In case it’s already been released, I’m on 7.1.4 and it isn’t fully fixed (CarPlay).

      Definitely better than before, but the buttons still disappear sometimes and the percentage setting on car’s screen has greyed out entry sometimes.

        It will hopefully be out in the next couple of days depending on how fast it will be approved in Google play/App store.

      Hello Linda,

      I tried your suggestions including a complete restart of the phone over the weekend without success. The bavior is still there. On top of that I also observe a strange behavior in regards to the accuracy of the GPS after the first charging stop. The navigation is often about 150 or 200m behind reality, that is not the case during the first stint after I start the naviration.

    Agree that the ±manual SoC adjustment is difficult to use. The buttons disappear if we get some kind of SoC live data from the car. Perhaps your Fisker does report something through Android Auto?

        hi, any news here? the app acts funny and hallucinates some SoC values after starting navigation.

        note use live soc button on bottom left. I don’t have live data, no obd, no connected services where I live.

        and when I click “use live soc”, it resets to 55%.

        no idea where this comes from. this is also the starting value of my navigation (which is way off, it’s 32% now for example). this has been for the last 4-5 journeys. it takes couple of tries to override it manually after starting the navigation

          Thanks for the update! We just have an internal report of being able to reproduce this, so I think we are close to finding a solution to this bug.

    I have this too. I the past I had a different vehicle used with ABRP. For this car, an Enode live data connection was established on ABRP. Could the missing +/- issue be caused by this. For me, it’s essential to be able to adjust this manually when no live data connection is in place.

    I have the same problem (using premium plan):

    I have no life data in use. SoC adjustment buttons are hidden most of the time. They randomly appear for only about a couple of seconds but there’s no way to manually adjust SoC.
