Random highway exiting and re-entering

Routing has me exiting and re-entering highway for no reason. This happens numerous times in the same trip. Theres no rhyme or reason. There’s clearly no advantage to slow down, exit and drive eback onto the highway when staying on makes more sense. There’s no traffic either.
