Hi, I see the same behavior - since a long time - in tunnels here in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Most confusingly, no other navigation sw behaves like this. My ARBP app (7.1.4 (5924) on iOS) like its predecessors goes nuts, reports wrong driving directions, tries to reroute based on on surface roads a.s.o..

Here the answer from ChatGPT to my quetion if i made a wrong settinc in ABRP:

Most established navigation systems (such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, or built-in vehicle navigation) use dead reckoning. This means that when the GPS signal is lost in a tunnel, the software continues to estimate the vehicle’s position using:
● the last known speed,
● the driving direction,
● the smartphone’s gyroscope and accelerometer, or
● even better, vehicle data (such as wheel speed and steering angle) when the navigation system is integrated into the car.
If Google Maps continues to navigate correctly through the same tunnel on the same phone, while ABRP loses the position, this suggests that the issue is more likely due to a limitation or a software bug in ABRP rather than a problem with your settings.

I am sorry, this is not a Problem with IOS! Using Apple Navi or Google Maps and Car Play to get Navigation on to Car Screen you have perfect working of Navi in Tunels! You will have same results with f.ex. Google maps if you are using a new built tunel which is not yet in map integrated! This is of my experience a mistake in your software when GPS signal is missing in tunels. Tunels have to be recognized in different way to avoid GPS signal searching!

Thanks! Can you send a bug report from the app or CarPlay (in the settings menu) when this happens? iOS sometimes makes up GPS locations which are only estimates and does not tell us properly.
