For instance from Atlanta to Orlando with Tesla, GA chargers are per minute, sometimes $1/min. In FL they are all around $0.35/min.

Therefore it is better to weight stops to charge in FL.
Equally there may be alternates like EA that some users with CCS adaptors could enable to use (as is possible today) and stopping at those may be more cost effective.
Would be nice to have an optimize charging stops for optimal pricing.

    Currently, A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) primarily optimizes routes for the quickest arrival time. We propose introducing a new route optimization setting or a slider that allows users to prioritize the cheapest total charging cost for their trip.

    • Optimization Slider: Implement a slider that runs from "Quickest Route" to "Cheapest Route."

    • Cost Calculation: The "Cheapest" setting would prioritize charging at stations with lower cost-per-kWh, even if it means:

      • Adding slightly longer drive times.

      • Adding more, but shorter, charging stops to take advantage of faster charging rates at lower State of Charge (SoC).

      • Selecting a lower-powered, but significantly cheaper, charger type (e.g., L2 over DC fast-charging) if the time trade-off is acceptable to the user.

    Cost base routing

    I would like when I can influence the routing based on the costs.
    e.g. I want to use ENBW, Fastned and Ionity for my Trips currently I give them a higher prio. But based on my IONITY package I would favor IONITY over the 2 others. It would be nice when I could number them or give them a price tag. e.g Ionity 29 cent and ENBW 55 cent and Fastned 59 cent as example. So that the route optimizer minimize my costs.
