Ionity chargers aren't selected even if the network is preferred

Preferring a specific network seems to be unreliable / sometimes doesn’t work at all

I want to use Ionity only and nothing else, even if this means a detour. Sometimes, ABRP doesn’t seem to honor this preference. Really annoying because it means I have to manually look around in the Ionity app for the closest stations, since there seems to be no way to have the ABRP map view only show Ionity stations either. (If this exists, please tell me how to do it.)

After selecting the new 2025 Mercedes CLA 350 4MATIC als a car (which I’ll hopefully own soon), I noticed that ABRP doesn’t seem to want to use any Ionity chargers at all, even though i’ve set it to only use Ionity.

Happens on both the web site and in the iOS app. I just pressed the “bug button” to upload bug report data.

        I found this answer from my colleague “We’ve looked at this and found the issue. It’s related to the fact that the Mercedes only can charge at 800 V charger. There was a bug in our charger search that caused us not to find any 800 V Ionity chargers, even though they exists. We’re working on a fix, but due to the summer vacations, I can’t give an accurate timeline on when it might be out.

        I believe this Mercedes is the only vehicle we have the only supports 800 V charger and hence would suffer from this bug. This is of course of little help to you Tobias, but it’s at least fortunate for most of our other users.”

    Hi @Tobias Braun,

    You can set a high preference for a network, but you cannot make ABRP to use only a specific network.

    I’ve checked the plan link and it does however look a bit odd, we should at least include a few Ionity chargers in this plan. We’ll review this.

    Will this bug ever be fixed?!

    Now you even seem to have removed the 2026 model year which could be used as a workaround.

    Plus, you added the CLA Shooting Brake, which apparently has lower consumption than the regular coupé version in ABRP, even though its WLTP consumption is higher.
