Preferred Networks almost ignored?
I am planning a trip from Copenhagen to Stockholm.
Since I can charge for free on the “Powered By E.ON Drive & Clever” network, I have set that as a preferred network (two thumbs up in web version/heart in Beta app)
But when ABRP plans the route 2/3 chargers are other networks, only one of the chargers are on the “Powered By E.ON Drive & Clever” Network.
I have tried to manually add the “Powered By E.ON Drive & Clever” charges as waypoints enroute to Stockholm, and the result is a 1 minute longer journey.
So for one minute more, I can charge for free for the entire trip.
ABRP, was I think better at respecting the preferred charging networks previously?
This is exactly what I need ABRP for, to select my preferred chargers automatically.

The manually configured trip is now 7 minutes longer, probably because I have less battery today than I had in the weekend.

It can be different reasons why we don’t select those chargers. Right now all three chargers are busy and have zero available chargers. The one in Värnamo has this label below.
If the chargers don’t make the plan longer we usually select the networks that are preferred.

I tried playing with settings.
If I set max. charging % to 90% it uses two Powered by E.ON & Clever chargers (not the one which is “out of service”) max charging will be 74%
If I set max charging to 80% it only uses one Powered by E.ON & Clever charger on my route. Despite max charging did not exceed the 80% in the example above.
This is odd.

The developers are going to look at this more next year and see what we can change. We are aware that users don’t always get the chargers they expect.
