Poor routing.

Just wondering if everyone else has experienced really bad routing. Wasted almost an hour on the weekend with the Nav choosing country lanes which are technically 60 but you are lucky to go 40. When we finally come to a major road it had only got us 12 miles from where we started. What routing engine does it use. It need major work. Also why does it not re route when you don’t take the suggested turn. I had a couple of situations where once I took the wrong turn the other was not possible but the app just went quiet and I had to find my own way back to the route somehow. Pretty basic stuff for a navigation app right?
