Tried navigating from Courtenay, BC to Horseshoe Bay, BC. The planned route used a ferry from Victoria that resulted in a 300 km drive for over a 5 hour trip.
There is a Nanaimo, BC ferry between those two points that was not considered.
Forcing ABRP to use that ferry by adding Nanaimo as an intermediate stop reduced the trip to 113 km and just over 3 hours elapsed.
Not sure why ABRP decided on the inferior route?
