Please include a reason when rejecting bug reports / feature requests

This bug report: Ferry Not Being Used in Routing was rejected without explanation. It appears that the reason may be that the problem has been resolved or that the bug couldn’t be reproduced – but on the face of it the bug is a significant one and it appears very puzzling that it would be rejected. Explaining why would clear that up or allow folks experiencing the bug to add more information.
