Plans/Search don't work in-car (7.0.2 Beta)
When I hit search and select anything (a search, a fave, a saved plan) the search menu closes and the map returns to “idle”.
Volvo EX30.
- Where does this happen?
- ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

Thanks for testing our beta! Can you give us something to identify your plan (it may be a plan call which immediately fails) - like a specific address or time/date of the plan?

It’s not just a plan - it can be even just a search.
Today I re-installed ABRP Beta and did this sequence of steps
Log in
See the map show me where I am successfully
Click the magnifying glass to search
Selected “search:
Typed in the address where I was going (699 Highbury Rd, Vic, Australia)
Clicked on the matching entry in the search drop down
… and nothing happened. I exited the search mode and the marker showing my position was just sitting there, no route, no plan
I then tried to load a saved plan, by clicking on “saved plan” instead, I selected the saved plan … same thing. Nothing happened.

It’s been a month.
I re-installed the beta today, and got 7.0.4. This crashes when I start to drive - it renders the route, appears to try to start navigation and freezes.
Can you let me know if in fact you are working on this?

Hello Martin - unfortunately we have not been able to get anywhere on this. No crashes are reported for your user in our crash logging. As far as we can tell this is a specific EX30 issue and it is difficult for us to debug on specific cars.
The 7.0.4 crash - does that happen every time?

Yes, it does happen every time that I start to drive.
I press “drive” after the plan completes. The app tells me the first thing to do (go straight, whatever) and draws. Then it redraws the whole screen and freezes.
It accepts no input, and I have to use the app manager to navigate away from it.
I’m happy to help with debug in any way I can.
