Override new routes that require decreasing speed

While driving I get “new shorter route alerts” on CarPlay. I select accept but then see that the new route requires slowing down below speed limit. I have the adjust speed option turned off. I would either like a setting to avoid routes that require going below speed limit (dangerous) or for the system to not suggest a route that requires adjusting speed when the adjust speed setting is off (it seems to be ignoring that setting)
