Overnight Stops Not Displaying Correctly

I’ve just planned a new trip in beta 3541, and overnight stops are not displaying the overnight stop duration in the historical manner, making it hard to locate stops without drilling down into a waypoint.

This is on my v10, up to date iPad.

Where does this happen?

The 2nd, 4th and 6th waypoints in the trip are anll overnights.

On a separate point, once again I cannot take a screen shot to commence reporting a bug.

I need a link to the plan. Please look above how to do a link that you can paste in here.

        I spoke too soon.

The first waypoint on this journey is an overnight, but does not display as such.

The 4th waypoint is also an overnight, but is displaying fine.

This problem is evident on both iPad and iPhone.

If I add charging it will treat it as an overnight. I will ask my colleague why we do it like that. You don’t always have to charge when you are staying overnight.

If you can see changes I have made to the trip plan, by adding a fake charge event of 1 minute, it created a workaround.

Upon reflection, my request for clarity of overnight waypoints links to another request I have posted.

In the left column of a trip plan timings display, the first is a departure time, all others are arrivals.

I have requested the arrival time be moved to before the waypoint symbol and the departure time added after. That in combination with the ZZZs would be really helpful IMO.

My colleague will fix this and the fix will probably be out in the beginning of the next week.

Linda, I gather the fix was not in the new version updated this morning out time (eastern Australia).

                  No it’s not fixed yet.

Linda, has this been sidetracked by higher priorities?

There has been zero progress in about 3 weeks.

Sorry to hijack, but that plan created a question for me:

The power is missing, and the box is red, but seems to be okay (?).

              @Rui Oliveira
If it’s not a charger we have you need to fill in the kW of the charger yourself. Then the red mark will disappear.

Yes, that is the part that I know. But in the plan the other user shared they are not filling in the power, just the target percentage and the time they will leave. Is that enough for ABRP to do its thing?

If you don’t want to charge you don’t need to fill in the kW and time. His problem is that it’s an overnight stay and we don’t show it if we don’t fill in a charge during the night.

I have found manually inserting a 1kW charge rate ‘for’ 1 minute is a viable workaround.

ABRP then treats the waypoint as an overnight stay, and the car’s SOC is not thrown out by much.

Interestingly, when a trip plan is exported to Excel, an overnight is shown with a +1, which I find helpful.

Yes, upon checking it this morning I realised that non-charging overnight stops, do NOT display clearly as an overnight.

I’d argue that this is important in planning multi day trips. If you like, I can see how other users feel/think about this on Reddit.
