Overheats and drains smartphone

When using ABRP with my Google pixel 9 XL Pro and android auto it overheats my phone and drains my phone's battery. My phone is not plugged in for charging and also not on a wireless charger, so the heat issue is solely because of ABRP. That's why I usually only use Google maps but for longer routes ABRP is necessary but hardly a good option with the battery drain

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Hi

    We have another case with an overheated phone. My colleagues will look at that and see if we can change something to solve this issue.

      I’m also experiencing same problem with my Google Pixel 9 Pro. Using it in wireless Android Auto mode and the phone would get fairly hot to point where ABRP would freezes and lags behind where I was. Switching to Google Maps and the problem doesn’t exist. Thank you
