Option to Prefer Ferries

In parts of the world ferries can dramatically shorten driving distances & provide pleasant breaks. Could an option be added to the routing algorithm to prefer (rather than to avoid) ferries?

Adding ferries manually is a good option / stopgap, but an option to prefer ferries would help with the discovery of routes with interesting ferries.
