Once Navigation Starts Can’t Go Back and Edit

I set up a trip but the start time and departure % that I manually entered didn’t make it into the plan. Now the route is showing up and there isn’t an easy way to get back to edit the trip. At least not an intuitive way. If I go to plan it asks if I want to add a destination or waypoint. I don’t want either but, guess what? Too bad because I have to pick one of those options because there is no back or cancel button. At this point all the navigation elements I had to edit or recalculate the trip are gone and so far I don’t see a way to even reset or start a new trip. Been fighting it for longer than I wish to say and I’m the guy people call to figure out software. I think I need therapy now, lol. I really hope someone does something to fix the UI. This app has great guts but man is it tough to use.
