Odd routing in rural areas

I’ve come across an issue where the app sends me on large, unneeded loops rather than just routing me back the way I came from. Example:

Twin Falls, ID to Stanely ID, to Boise ID. Instead of routing me back through Hailey ID to charge it’s trying to send me to Arco ID OR on a route I’m unlikely to make it on through McCall ID. Nothing I do can get it to just turn me around the way I came to the closer charging stop.

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)

    Thanks Linda! Can you elaborate more on what you did so I can fix this if something like this happens again in the future? I tried a couple of times, starting from scratch and removing charge points etc. and re-adding them and kept getting the same result.

    I didn’t see the the minus SoC when going through those, just that it was showing that I wasn’t’ going to have enough charge to make it.

      Thanks. There was a minus SoC at the Hailey waypoint so I selected Hailey again and now it’s a working plan. You get a charge in Hailey. I hope that I understood you correct.

        Hey Linda - Quick update. So it was working… I made some small tweaks to our route and now it’s doing the same thing plus adding some additional odd route planning to a different area of the route that was previously o.k.

        I’ve attached some screen shots. I’m going to keep tinkering with it. If I get it fixed I’ll reply here with that update and process.
