OBDLinkCX SOC differences with ABRP and 2026 Subaru Solterra

When I first installed the OBD dongle, ABRP showed 2% more SOC than the Subaru’s heads up display. Recently, the SOC in the heads up display in the Subaru is 3% greater than the SOC in ABRP. If there is a software coding issue, when will ABRP be updated? Which SOC number should I trust on my upcoming road trip?

    It’s normal with a difference of 2-3% when using an OBD.

      Thanks, Linda. At first the 2-3% showed more, but now it’s shows less. That’s a 6% move and I’m concerned about that for our upcoming road trip. I assumed the dongle would read the precise amount, but it doesn’t.

        We usually don’t get the precise percent from the OBD. 2-3% more or less is normal. If you want more margin for the arrival you can change the arrival SoC in the settings under Charging.

    I also tried to send ABRP my data log from the app on my phone, but was unable to do so.
