OBDlink CX with MachE 2024 connection fails UNLESS

ABRP will only “see” my MachE 2024 if I select 2022-2023 Extended Range 91 kwh battery. If I select 2024 RWD Ext Range, my OBDLink CX is not seen. I can test for connection and then select the OBDLink connection, and ABRP says initialization passes but data fetching commands FAILED.

I only noticed this behaviour in the last couple of months when I noticed ABRP was giving the option to select 2024 model year, previously the software worked with 2023+ option.

    Thanks for reporting! The MachE changed their OBD commands for 2024+ models, and we don’t have support for those newer models in ABRP yet. If you sign up for the iOS beta of ABRP Installing the ABRP Beta version you can try our new CarScanner integration and see how that works.

      Your information is incorrect. The OBD commands changed for 2025 and up. My 2024 uses the same commands as 2021 - 2023.

      I did install CarScanner and used the ABRP integration inside CarScanner with 7.1.8. With the OBDLink, ABRP would reflect the cars displayed SOC. With Carscanner linked, the cars SOC is displayed in the ABRP connection. In my case it is a 2-3% difference (lower in ABRP than on the central display)

      Carscanner link = car display minus 2 or 3%.
