OBDBLE as a service / support being run in background

I would find it very good if the obdble data are also read out when the ABRP app is not running in the foreground or android auto navigation is active. This is the best way to update the reference consumption continously and record journeys.
To do this, the data would have to be read out as a background service.
The presence of a bluetooth connection to the car could be used as a trigger to start/stop measurement.
For data protection reasons, this background service should be switchable by configuration.
