OBD Vgate iCar pro - Relink needed every time

Vehicle : SKODA Enyaq
OBD device : Vgate iCar pro BLE 4.0
Smartphone : Google Pixel3a
Android 12
ABRP version 4.2.8

The OBD device is correctly detected (but shows as IOS-Link instead of Android-Link - may be part of the issue).
After the device is properly connected to ABRP I use the SAVE button. After which ABRP displays SOC and uses OBD data normally.
But when I leave the vehicule and come back, on restart, ABRP fails to connect with the dongle displaying
Connecting… in an infinite loop.

The only solution is to unlink and relink the device to have ABRP work again.

It seems that bug has been present in at least the last 3 or 4 versions.
