OBD intermittent connection

Hi,
I have a Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0 OBDII scanner in my Peugeot e2008. I think that I am seeing an intermittent connection with that and ABRP. On a long journey home, last night, the state of charge kept flicking between showing the actual battery percentage (and resultant calculated charge at destination) and a figure of 38% and a charge at destination based on the incorrect number of 38%. This resulted in ABRP rerouting me to a charger that I didn't need to use. Has anyone else had this? I am using a iPhone 13 connected via wifi to the Vgate.

Is there a better OBD dongle that I should be using?
