would like to report what appears to be a bug related to OBD connectivity with the Leapmotor B10.
Device: iPhone
iOS: (latest version)
ABRP Premium: Yes (trial)
ABRP App Version: 7.1.4 (5924)
Vehicle: Leapmotor B10 Design 2025 (65 kWh)
OBD adapter: Vgate iCar Pro 2S BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)
The OBD adapter works correctly with Car Scanner and connects immediately to the vehicle.
However, ABRP is unable to establish a working OBD connection.
Bluetooth is enabled.
ABRP has Bluetooth permission.
Car Scanner successfully reads live vehicle data from the adapter.
Adapter firmware appears to be working correctly.
I disconnected Car Scanner before attempting ABRP.
I created a Custom Vehicle based on the official Leapmotor B10 Design 2025 profile.
I tested both the official vehicle profile and the custom profile.
I tried OBD Protocol 6, Protocol 7 and Generic.
I restarted the adapter and the application several times.
The only place where I found diagnostic information is Test PIDs.
Initialization is reported as successful, but data retrieval fails.
The log contains the following message:
error writing init commands
could not get commands for type init from [object Object]
leapmotor:b10:25:67:rwd
This looks like ABRP cannot obtain or load the initialization commands for the Leapmotor B10 profile.
The adapter itself is working because Car Scanner communicates with the vehicle without any issues.
Therefore I suspect that this is either:
an issue with the Leapmotor B10 OBD profile,
missing initialization commands for this vehicle,
or a bug in the current iOS version of ABRP.
Could you please investigate?
