Two trips I have planned lately have underestimated charge needed for the drive. The latest said I could make it without a charge. In reality I had to stop 20 miles before my destination with only 7% battery left. Another had me making it without a charge and I had to charge 20 miles away with 9% left. This is under normal weather and road conditions. The Tesla app seams to be more accurate and reliable.
