Not able to select route on display

Car is a Mazda MX-30, the screen is not touchscreen, but operated by a knob (like BMW I-drive) When i search for a route and it shows on the map, I am not able to select it :-( The "highlight" only shows short and the jups back to the icon in the lower right side of the screen! Please help advice

Where does this happen?
Android Auto
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)
