No guidance with Android Auto

With an active navigation session and plugged USB cable, Android Auto starts on my car screen, but does not show the guidance information on the displaywd map.

Car: KIA Niro EV 2024

Phone: Google Pixel 6 with Android 16

Where does this happen?
ABRP version number (found at bottom of settings menu)
