No connection to OBD-Dongle despite green sign
Yesterday, 17 August 2025 at 11:00, I drove 4km (see My Drives). During the drive, ABRP showed with a green Bluetooth symbol that the SOC was 100%. In fact, it was somewhere around 64%. I uploaded a bug report. After that, I had to stop and tried various things (restart the app, disable and reactivate Bluetooth, reboot the phone). Nothing helped. Only disconnecting the OBD-dongle in ABRP and reconnecting it solved the problem. The bug reported here: ABRP shows with a green symbol that it has a connection. Hi
This might me a pairing issue. I had another user who got this to work by deleting the dongle in the bluetooth settings and re-paired it using obdlink app. Please try this and see if it works.

Thank you for your answer. Like I wrote, the problem was solved by “disconnecting the OBD-dongle in ABRP and reconnecting it“.
In my opinion, however, it is a bug if the green Bluetooth symbol, which means "Successfully connected," is displayed even though there is a pairing problem and especially if ABRP has definitely recognised this. The SOC is then indeed increasingly reduced in ABRP from the (wrong) starting value when you continue driving, which makes the value look realistic, but it is not. You then trust the displayed, actually wrong SOC, which can lead to further problems. Fortunately, this was not the case for me because the values were so far apart.
