Nice but doesn’t t record the fact you charged the vehicle

It would be really nice if this app was actually aware that you charged the vehicle when you stop at the selected charging station. I have a 2024 Mach E and and iPhone running g 18.6 and every time I stop to charge and then resume driving the app has no clue that I did this and uses the precharge SoC as the current state. . Which makes App useful until the first charging stop. After that it is useless unless i create a new trip from the charging location to next charge or destination. Kind of defeats the purpose of tracking and saving trips and it is an unnecessary pain. I will cancel My subscription and return to using Apple Maps.

Is the Mach E supposed to have a built-in mechanism for communicating SoC to ABRP? If not you could use an ODB2 dongle to provide a way for ABRP to get live SoC values. It seems like one “meet in the middle” step would be to add a feature to ABRP that assumes that when you stop at a charging station that you will charge to the recommended SoC, and then prompt to update the SoC when you’re done charging. I’ll put in a feature request for that.

I think there is already a manual way to update SoC in route when you charge, it would just be nice to automate it and to offer a reminder to update the value when you leave.

Yeah this would be nice. I've stopped laying for Volkswagens car-net connectivity and ever since the only way for ABRP to read data from my car is through AA or my OBD dongle.

It would be nice if ABRP recognized a significant increase in SoC from the last time it was connected to the car and add a charging stop entry in my drives.
