Navigation freezes on Android ABRP v6.1.9

After planning a route and clicking the Drive button the app appears to freeze and fails to update my location.

There's a 30 second lag which unsticks eventually and updates my position but then freezes for another wait.

Navigating using Google maps or Osmand is smooth and responsive.

Phone is a Pixel 7

Any help much appreciated
