Navigating off and on highway for no reason

Hi. Often I experience that navigation takes me off the highway at an intersection for then just to put me on the same highway on the other side of the intersection. This is very annoying as it always takes more time than just staying on the same road. There should be something to ensure consistency on same road when optimizing the route.
