My Position is not where I am when using iPhone

On my iPhone I built a route starting at My Position and a destination with 2 intermediate stops. The created plan started about 100 miles from my current location. Every time I tried to select My Position it never reflected where I was currently.

Most frustrating. I did not seem to have a problem using the web version on my desktop computer.
