My ABRP freezes when I select “connect OBD.”

How do I get past this problem?

It is this unit: OBDLinkCX which is working fine and does connect to the OBD app just fine. I have tried a few things, like deleting the OBD app. Then trying to only connect the OBD to the ABRP app. No luck. I have restarted my iPhone 16. I have cycled to Subaru Solterra on and off and on again. No luck.

Perhaps the units are not compatible. I have the latest software on the OBD app and on the ABRP app. I want to love ABRP, and even have subscribed to the premium level.

If I can’t connect to the ABRP app, I plan to return the OBD and give up. It should not be this difficult.
