Most expensive charger far from route

I was traveling from Maryland to Parsippany, NJ. ABRP took me to the most expensive station in Warminster,PA, far off the actual route. I wound up spending $17 for 64 miles!! That's more than $1 per kwh. If I wasn't down so low (and brought lower because it was >5 miles of the route to get there),I would have tried to find another station. Do stations pay to be used preferentially by ABRP? After this trip, it certainly feels that way.

    Hi @Andrea Neuman,

    No. No brands are able to pay to be preferred in ABRP planning. They can however make sure to provide live status data to make their chargers more reliable in planning, and then we will possibly prefer them over chargers without live status data.

    At the moment, we do not have enough pricing data available to make cost-effective planning possible. But we of course hope to make this possible in the future.
