Minimum departure charge at DC fast chargers

If I’m at a fast charger, I will always want to wait a little bit longer depart with at least 80%. The Ioniq 5 has a fast charging curve so there isn’t much drawback to waiting a few more minutes. Unfortunately the app doesn’t seem to have this as an option. Thanks!

    Hi @User,

    Too many settings can cause conflicts, so this is not something we’re currently considering. I would recommend trying the ‘charging stops’ setting instead to make the planner prefer longer stops. We already optimize the charging stops in the plan according to the vehicle’s charging curve.

      Thanks, I already tried that and it didn’t match our real world usage. We had to stop for longer to feed baby and ended up always charged to 100%, so we took a completely different route/stops than ARBP suggested, and just used PlugShare to find 350kW stations along our route when needed. Maybe there’s a way to say we will always stop for a minimum of 30-45 minutes instead

        Currently, there’s not, but you can always edit the charging time for an individual stop by clicking the settings button for it in the itinerary.
