I suggest to invent a zoom level by road type control. Road type bundles could be <ul><li>3rd and 4th grade roads, town roads</li><li>2nd grade roads, intercity and highways </li><li>Motorways</li></ul>The system automatically adjusts the zoom level according to the driven speed but within the zoom limits in each road type.
